What To Expect
Over several weekly workshops (typically 7-8) and led by one of our educators, we cover nutritional information, menu planning, kitchen safety, knife skills, food hygiene, raw food handling and dining etiquette.
On the Menu
- Interactive cooking demonstrations, coupled with clear step-by-step instructions for each recipe
- Explanations of the “why” behind key techniques, helping build understanding and retention of important processes in meal preparation (particularly healthy eating portions and safety in the kitchen)
- Opportunities to practise the skills you learn, reinforced through the preparation of raw ingredients and cooking of meals
- Social interaction and eating together – the efforts of the day are always enjoyed together
