Expanding upon the successful Let’s Get Social workshop, this workshop is for more mature ladies and addresses the specific needs and interests of this group by building social skills and developing friendships through common interests and shared experiences.
As always, it wraps fun, social engagement, and skills development into one workshop as the group engages around gender-related issues and interests specific to this stage of life.

What To Expect
Explanations of the “why” — helping participants understand the importance of coordinating self-chosen social outings with others.
The workshops cover skills such as:
- Planning, inviting, booking, and confirming events
- Travelling, meeting, and engaging socially
- Getting home safely
- Applying learned skills in real situations
- Finding inexpensive and easy-to-access events
- Practising socialising and dining together
Workshop Details
- Nine or ten weekly four-hour sessions led by an educator
- Typically convening in a Central Perth location, then using easily accessible community locations
- Specific learnings shared during each workshop
- Participant discussions on learning intentions
- All workshop materials, equipment, and activities included in the cost
